Re: audio rendering mystery
Tue, April 15, 2008 - 4:43 PMyep, tried that. What I ended up doing was converting the clips from .dv to .mov with mpegstreamclip. Some of the .dv clips rendered but then the computer would lose track of the audio render files. Maybe it was an issue with .dv files. who knows?
But my 'puter has been doing weird stuff lately. Today I tried to import a .mov clip - General error- popped up Who knows again?

Re: audio rendering mystery
Thu, May 1, 2008 - 2:06 PMSometimes I find that things which won't render as a whole, will render as a specific selection. I don't know why, it just sometimes goes that way.

Re: audio rendering mystery
Thu, May 1, 2008 - 3:49 PMTry mixing down the audio. It's under the render menu - but it fixes a WORLD of problems with audio - especially in projects that have a lot of tracks.

Re: audio rendering mystery
Sun, May 4, 2008 - 9:48 AMUnder the render menu there's a command to Mix down the audio(FCP 6) - in older versions it's in a different menu - you may have to look for it - but what it does, so I understand - is mix all the audio render files down into one. It has a really magic way of "solving" audio problems. It's really useful when you have a lot of audio tracks stacked up.

Re: audio rendering mystery
Sat, May 3, 2008 - 9:18 AMHow full is nearly full? I have been resorting space and dumping old files. Maybe that was it.
